We're Hiring
Ocean Crest Ventures is building the team that will guide founders through the next decade of AI and alternative investments. If you thrive in fast-moving environments and want to work on meaningful problems alongside accomplished leaders, we want to hear from you.
Chief Revenue Officer
We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to lead client acquisition and partnerships across our three divisions — Private Equity, Real Estate, and AI Consulting. The CRO will own the firm's revenue strategy, build out our client pipeline, and develop strategic partnerships with founders, family offices, and institutional partners.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end revenue strategy across Private Equity, Real Estate, and AI Consulting divisions
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified clients, partners, and co-investment opportunities
- Develop strategic relationships with founders, family offices, fund managers, and corporate partners
- Represent Ocean Crest Ventures at industry events, conferences, and in media appearances
- Partner with the marketing team to align messaging, content, and outbound strategy
- Track and report on revenue metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline health
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing, positioning, and service development
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or revenue leadership
- Background in private equity, venture capital, family office, or financial services strongly preferred
- Proven track record of building and closing a multi-million dollar pipeline
- Strong existing network with founders, investors, and capital allocators
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and comfortable building from a foundation

Forward Deployed AI Engineer
We are hiring a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed directly with our consulting clients alongside Eliyahu Cohen. You will scope customer AI use cases, design and write the integration code, debug production issues on-site, and stay on the account until the deployment delivers measurable business outcomes. This is the role that Anthropic, OpenAI, and Palantir have made famous — a hybrid of software engineering, solutions architecture, and customer success rolled into one.
What You'll Do
- Embed directly with clients to scope, design, and ship custom AI solutions
- Build data infrastructure and pipelines that power reliable AI applications
- Fine-tune and deploy LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation systems
- Develop AI agents and automation workflows that solve real business problems
- Integrate AI capabilities into client products via APIs and custom interfaces
- Work directly with founders and leadership teams on AI strategy and roadmaps
- Own deployments end-to-end until they hit measurable business outcomes
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience, with hands-on AI/ML work
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with modern AI frameworks (PyTorch, LangChain, etc.)
- Experience deploying production systems using LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases
- Comfortable across the stack — backend, data engineering, and at least some frontend
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Self-directed and excited about working face-to-face with clients across multiple industries
Compensation
Competitive salary + equity participation
Government Business Development Lead
We are looking for a well-connected Government Business Development Lead to open doors in state, local, and education (SLED) agencies. This is a relationship-first role — you will leverage your existing network of government decision-makers to identify agencies that need AI consulting, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for our team to run. You are not closing deals. You are opening conversations.
What You'll Do
- Leverage your existing government network to identify agencies and departments with AI adoption needs (process automation, data infrastructure, digital presence, AI strategy)
- Qualify opportunities — confirm decision-maker authority, budget availability, and genuine need before booking
- Book qualified meetings between government prospects and Ocean Crest AI leadership
- Provide warm introductions and context on each prospect's pain points, organizational structure, and procurement process
- Track outreach and pipeline activity in our CRM
- Share market intelligence — procurement timelines, upcoming RFPs, budget cycles, and the competitive landscape in your network
- Represent Ocean Crest AI at government and public sector events, conferences, and networking opportunities
What We're Looking For
- An established network of contacts in state, local, or education government agencies — this is the core requirement
- Understanding of government procurement processes, budget cycles, and decision-making structures
- Familiarity with SLED (State, Local, Education) sales dynamics
- Ability to identify and articulate technology pain points in government organizations
- Professional credibility with government decision-makers
- Self-directed — you can manage your own outreach cadence without day-to-day oversight
Compensation
Competitive fractional retainer + performance-based incentives
